Chuck Meibeyer, under the rubric of the Conflict Mediation Center, began mediating in 1992 and has conducted more than 350 mediations with a success rate exceeding 98%. Mediation is a wonderful opportunity to resolve disputes without the participants having to lose control of the outcome. The parties share the costs, meet in confidential, private sessions, and reach more satisfying results in voluntary agreements facilitated by the mediator. Mediation is particularly effective when the parties have ongoing relationships (family members, business partners, neighbors) but can work in all forms of disputes including real estate, business, land use and employment.

The process minimizes hostility because the parties focus on solutions that benefit all sides and the agreements reached are more durable.
